SMµ÷½ÌÉçÇøFamily of Learning Opportunities
SMµ÷½ÌÉçÇøCollege is part of the SMµ÷½ÌÉçÇøfamily of learning institutions comprised of:
Traditional Education Model
Our flagship institution, SMµ÷½ÌÉçÇøCollege, has been preparing students for careers for more than 35 years with accredited career training. Our tagline — We work to get you to work — is our daily mantra. SMµ÷½ÌÉçÇøCollege focuses on preparing graduates for in-demand careers in health care, information technology, business, veterinary care, and the trades. Tens of thousands of students have entrusted their career futures to us, successfully graduated, and earned the job they were looking for in their field of interest. In addition to earning academic credits and credentials, many of our programs also lead to industry-recognized certifications.
Workforce and Industry Certification Model
SMµ÷½ÌÉçÇøCareer Academy is an efficient, flexible pathway to an in-demand career. With its self-paced, non-accredited online and blended curriculum, students can take a more streamlined approach to learning job-ready skills. They can complete their training and get on the job in 3 to 32 weeks. Most courses are available 24/7, enabling students to choose the time and place where they learn best. The focus is solely on learning the concepts and skills necessary for today’s work and for earning industry recognized certification, rather than obtaining academic credentials. Students get a focused, flexible, affordable education at SMµ÷½ÌÉçÇøCareer Academy.
Employer-Based Training Model
SMµ÷½ÌÉçÇøApprenticeships enable students to learn while they earn on the job. This is an industry-driven, non-accredited career pathway where employers can develop and prepare a workforce to their specific needs, and individuals can obtain paid work experience, online classroom instruction, and a portable, nationally recognized credential. Our apprenticeships are competency-based and reward effective skill mastery rather than traditional grading. Through SMµ÷½ÌÉçÇøApprenticeships, students can earn a National Certificate of Completion from the US Department of Labor in as little as six months.
